He is CUTE and I could just go in and wake him up right now so I could squeeze him. ) I'm working on some new things and hopefully will have more sneak peeks and some 08 graduation open house cards to post soon! I did some portraits recently for the Voigt family and they were the NICEST family EVER. I had so much fun and you could literally feel the love between them all! It was a very special session for me...and I really really hope that you'll head out to the benifit breakfast this weekend!!! Here is a collage I did for them as well. Recent sessions...

I had a few really FUN sessions this week and I had to share. From a newborn (SERIOUSLY...if I could keep her I would) To a 5 year old-- This little guy was just so easy and if every session was like this I'd be SO set! LOL. And finally a SENIOR...the last for the year I think :-) I just adore her hair. We had a really great time. The is literally the first image I took at her session--can't wait to look at the rest :-) I have more stuff to post about this week so I'll be back soon LOL. I'll leave it at this for tonight though.

BOYS-

Well, I guess it was going to happen sometime. My little Ashton got his first black eye- courtesy of his big Brother Aidan. It was an accident, they were running and being rough, and Ashton fell and hit his eye on a vent. UGH....poor little buddy! While I'm here talking about boys, I'll share a few of my recent favorites. Both these little guys have been to me before and they came in for their first Birthday session! Eli thought I was funny.... Jack, not so much...HA! This SO cracks me up. They sure look like they are enjoying themselves LOL LOL. He has SUCH pretty blue eyes. I didn't even enhance them! Wow, huh? LOVE this. I just think it's so funny. And some cake pictures. I'll have some more previews online soon :-) It is 3am, and I am going to bed! I am such a night owl...

I should be sleeping but...

I HAD to share these. Oh my gosh I had the cutest baby in today! IT was SO fun. Hee hee...I could eat him up!


And while I'm here, I might as well show off my sweet little Niece! I can't believe how big she is already. It seems like I just posted newborn photos of her a few days ago, and now she's already almost 9 months old. She is the sweetest happiest baby I know. Love her to pieces... (and I love to spoil her with cute girl clothes too HEE HEE).

You all know how much I love babies! I had to work a little at this one, she was 3 weeks old already but OH SO CUTE and SOOO worth working for ;-) Enjoy... The first 2 were shot with natural light at my NEW STUDIO!!!! This is one of my favorites: I LOVE IT when they smile like this in their sleep. I get so excited when I am able to capture it.. You may recognize Mom and Dad from the maternity session a few posts back which I also LOVED :-) I should get to sleep now! Goodnight!

A preview of the new ME!

I'm working day and night (and I mean that literally--last night I was up until 4am) trying to get this all finished. I have SOOO many new images to showcase on my updated site. It's so much fun, I can't wait. Also you may notice I have a new logo. This one is going to last forever! I have SO many exciting things in the works....I can barely sleep. More previews soon! I shoot my first sessions in the new studio later this week. LOTS to do before then. I'll try to get some pictures ASAP :-)

Just an update...

I wanted to thank everyone who prayed for Trae. I am so sad to report that he is no longer with us. It has been a rough week for my family. My cousin Monica (Trae's Mom) brought him to the doctor last Thursday night around midnight and she was told he had a sinus infection (even after a CT scan showed some abnormalities). They went home and by the time he woke up Friday morning things had gotten so bad that he was really out of it. Monica called the ambulance and they brought him to Children's Hospital where they immediately knew something was wrong. They figured out he had a sinus infection but that it had progressed into meningitis. By that point, it was so severe and was such an aggressive infection, there was nothing they could do. IT was such a freak thing. Things like this really make you reevaluate what is really important. I have worked so hard this past year I feel like I don't get enough time to truly enjoy my babies or my husband. I have decided that this year, things will be different. As much as I LOVE my business and my clients, I am a Mom first and a photographer second. It also makes me realize how important my job is. You never ever know what life has in store for us. I only wish I had gotten the chance to photograph my cousin and her beautiful son Trae before this happened. She had an appointment scheduled this summer and I had to change it because I was so busy. I think I will ALWAYS feel guilty for that. Please continue to pray for my cousin Monica and everyone else who loved Trae. I can only imagine what she is going through. No one should ever have to loose a child. There is a memorial fund set up in Trae's honor at the Roundbank here in Waseca if anyone is interested in donating. Thanks for listening to me ramble. Now, go give your kids a hug...

I just got news that my cousins son, Trae, has spinal meningitis and it isn't looking good. He is in the hospital right now but they think it has progressed too far. He needs ALL THE PRAYERS HE CAN GET. Thanks....
